Each student was tasked with creating a series of DVDs for a company called Plexifilm. Our goal was to select a group of graphic designers and tie them together with one concept/theme that was represented across each DVD cover.

SOLUTION
The group I chose was the Digital Pioneers consisting of Neville Brody, David Carson, Tibor Kalman and Edward Fella. My solution for the project was to relate each designer to a fighting style in boxing. Because each designer is known for breaking the rules of design in their own way, they each have a specific fighting style that best represents their work. Included in each DVD case, there is a ticket for the fight and an information slip that provides the results of the fighters weigh in. I created the series to feel as if Plexifilm is putting on the fight and the DVD is your ticket to see it.
